Enabling accessible content support for a student

Edfinity provides support for students who cannot independently complete vision-dependent items.

1. Instructor can designate accessible alternatives for vision-dependent (inaccessible) items in assignments.
2. In addition, if accessible content is not available, instructors can give students automatic credit for vision-dependent (inaccessible) items that do not have accessible alternatives.

To enable support for accessible content for a given student:

1. Go to the course in which the student is enrolled, and select the Students tab.
2. Select the student and then select the Student settings tab.
3. Select Enable accessible content support.
   Note: If a student has already started work on a non-accessible item within an assignment, you will need to reset the item in order for the accessible alternative content to be shown.
