A short answer part requires students to construct a concise and focused response, and can be validated as text or a number. For problems requiring complex mathematical answers and/or randomization, please use the Algorithmic part instead.
To add a Short Answer part to a problem:
- Go to the problem.
- Select Add part and then select Short Answer.
- Specify the question, the validation type, and the exact answer.
