There are several ways to preview a problem:
- Assignment editor
- Problem editor
- Search problems
When previewing a problem, you can view as a student or as an educator.
Previewing a problem as a student
When viewing as a student, you are running in the assignment environment that you have selected for the student for the assignment. You can select a problem and submit an answer as a student would.
Solutions will not be shown but you can see the results when you submit your answers.
Previewing a problem as an educator
Previewing a problem as an educator allows you to see what the student sees with several additional options.
You can opt to see solutions regardless of whether you submit answers.
You can also see what assignments the problem appears in and you can add the problem to another assignment. You can also see what skills are matched to the problem and view the difficulty of the problem. [If not matched with a skill, that section does not appear. Should there be something similar to to the assignments where it says there are currently no skills matched to this problem?]
An additional feature is that you can see if the problem is in any of the catalog courses. If so, you can select course and view the entire problem set for that course.
Restarting a problem
At any point you can select Restart. This allows you to enter and submit different answers or if the problem is set up as randomized then you will see a different version of the problem. [Link here?]
