When Edfinity runs within your LMS view (in an "iframe"), the cookies it stores are considered third-party cookies and are subject to privacy-related restrictions by some browsers. Without the ability to store cookies, Edfinity cannot work correctly.
The information below tells you how to enable third-party cookies in your browser. This information may be out of date, so check with your browser's help system if necessary.
Mobile Safari
- Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Scroll down and select Safari from the left navigation menu.
- Under Security & Privacy, disable both Block All Cookies and Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
Desktop Safari
- Open the Safari Browser.
- Click on the Safari menu and choose Preferences.
- Click on the Privacy tab.
- Under the Cookies and website data section, un-check both:
- Prevent cross-site tracking
- Block all cookies
Google Chrome
- Open the Chrome Browser.
- In the address bar, enter this address: "chrome://settings/cookies"
- Make sure that the setting for Block third-party cookies is NOT enabled.
- Restart Chrome.
Firefox
- Open the Firefox Browser.
- In the address bar, enter this address: "about:preferences#privacy"
- Under the section for Content Blocking, select Standard from the list of options.
- Restart Firefox.
Microsoft Edge
- Open the Edge Browser.
- Click on the More actions button on the toolbar and select Settings from the drop down menu.
- Scroll down and click on View advanced settings.
- Scroll down and find the Cookies section. From the drop down, select Don't block cookies.
- Restart Edge.
