Migration to Edfinity from legacy publisher homework systems at over 300 institutions has resulted in a huge impact on affordable access and learning outcomes for large student populations. As a federally funded organization (NSF Awards #1646935, #1758301, #1943530, #1949488, #2113803) Edfinity is committed to enabling equitable access to exceptional instructional content and assessments that are crucial to learning outcomes.
Specifically, one of Edfinity's goals is to help develop sustainable capacity at public institutions for the creation of quality assessments.
Edfinity is offering grants to our rapidly growing community of graduate students and faculty teaching large-enrollment introductory courses at public institutions. The grants fund time spent on any aspect of course design and creation of Edfinity courses, including but not restricted to:
- Customization of Edfinity catalog courses for use with specific textbooks or instructional content
- Authoring interactive, randomized problems for specific topics
- Enrichment of Edfinity courses with rich media such as lecture videos and instructional content
- Training and onboarding sessions for other faculty and feeder institutions
In addition to assisting with a smooth transition from publisher platforms, these grants facilitate community collaboration on creation of assessments, and provide an immersive experience to graduate students on the cusp of teaching and research careers.
Grants are contingent on Edfinity adoption and migration from legacy publisher platforms. For more information, please contact us.
