Licenses cannot be transferred across sections within or across courses.
Edfinity offers a grace period of two weeks after a student enrolls in a section.
- If an institution is purchasing licenses on behalf of students, a student license for a section will be deemed unused and 'freed up' as long as the student is dropped from the Edfinity section by the educator within two weeks of enrollment.
- A students who has purchased access directly can request a refund for for the purchase as long as the student is dropped from the Edfinity section by the educator within two weeks of enrollment. To enroll in a new section, a student would have to pay the access fee again.
- Refunds are not provided after the expiry of the 2-week grace period. This policy is uniformly and consistently applied to all institutions. Educators and students should conclude all section transfers within this 2-week period.
