Purchasing Edfinity access codes

Edfinity supports purchases of access codes through university/college bookstores for students who may need to pay with financial aid or scholarship funds. If your bookstore has any questions, they may reach out to support@edfinity.com for prompt assistance. Please read the instructions and our policy carefully, and note the ISBN numbers provided below.

Purchasing access codes

  1. Sign up at edfinity.com as an educator. 
    • Make you sure you select the institution for which you are purchasing access codes. Access codes that you purchase will only work at the institution you select when you create your educator account.
  2. From the top menu, select More > Access Codes.
  3. Select the Purchase button.
  4. Specify the number of access codes and check out.
  5. Return to the access codes page. The codes will be generated and can be downloaded for use.

Edfinity policy on access codes

  1. Codes are instantly delivered digitally upon purchase. There is no minimum order size.
  2. Access codes, once purchased, cannot be refunded, but bookstores may purchase access codes as needed to minimize inventory risk. There is no minimum order size - bookstores may order one code at a time as students purchase them, and get them delivered instantly.
  3. Access code purchases by bookstores require payment upfront. There is no minimum order size. 
  4. Access codes purchased for/at one institution or campus may not be used at another institution or campus. This is a gross violation of Edfinity's terms of use. Any attempt to do this will result in instant invalidation and forfeiture of the relevant access code(s) - no refunds will be provided.

  5. Access Code Types and Functionality. Edfinity offers different types of access codes, each associated with different Edfinity functionality. The cost of codes depends on the functionality. t. For instance, access codes that include the "OfficeHours" feature are priced differently than normal codes. So, if you buy an access code that includes "OfficeHours", it will enable you to use this feature.  Just like a key can only open a specific door, an access code can only unlock specific features. Make sure you pick the right key for your needs!

    1. ISBN for Edfinity without OfficeHours functionality: 978-1-7346627-3-3

    2. ISBN for Edfinity with OfficeHours functionality: 978-1-7346627-4-0
