Viewing and managing student grade books in a course

A grade book is used to calculate student grades within your course. Each student grade is calculated using the settings specified in the grade book.

To view grade books for a course:

1. Go to your course and select the Grade book tab.
2. From this tab, you can take a number of actions:
   • Enable/disable and configure the grade book
   • Export student grades

To view grades for a specific student:

1. Go to your course and select the Grade book tab.
2. Type in the search field to search for a specific student.
   
3. Select a student to see the student's grades, including assignment details.

To sort grades by student name:

1. Go to your course and select the Grade book tab.
2. Select the Student column header.
   
3. Select the header again to reverse the sort order.
